    I may be in the …
    I may be in the minority but I actually preferred the Hollies post-Graham Nash! I even liked the Mikael Rikfors edition of the group a lot. IMO, the albums were better after Nash.

    Well said, Gary!! Allan Clarke WAS the voice of the Hollies! They had perfect harmony and even when Graham Nash left, Terry Sylvester did a super job.

    Tony hicks gave me a couple of their CD’s and this tune just blew me away.I told Tony this tune was brilliant and should be remixed. Tony laughed it off and said no one would be interested. I want to show him people would be interested. Go to my facebook page and write a comment and i will show Tony search the heading ‘The Hollies 2010 Summer tune’.

    I notice Allan is really stepping it up as a lead singer should-much showier, and more physical here than some of the mid-to late ’60’s footage I’ve seen where he mostly appears to just stand there (looking gorgeous all the while of course!) but a frontman needs to MOVE up there. Tony’s mustache-cute but I prefer the clean-shaven look-the better to see that cute baby face of his. ;-)

    HEY WILLY…. what a superb rocking song ! Saw this T.OT.P edition in 1971 and became a lifelong fan ! Allan Clarke is irreplaceable , the ‘true’ sound of the HOLLIES , fantastic vocals in conjunction with Tony Hicks, Graham Nash , and Terry Sylvester ! Wish he would come out of retirement and record some more stuff. Love you mate , Gary t.
