Whats a good way of filling negative space?
I’m drawing and my teacher wants me to have no negative space. Its all about random stuff that flow in a piece. So I have to use random words like blind, PBJ, auto theft, Guitar Hero. So what Ive done is drawn the three blind mice joy riding in a wonder bread truck and the road is actually the guitar hero thing where the notes drop down and there are actually notes on it to the beginning of through the fire and flames. and then theres willy wonka leaning on a mushroom. but i cant fill in the negative space. i still have to include stuff like the beatles somehow and music. can you give me some random things to add? or any techniques to filling my page up?
I think Im gonna try to make like a Mt Rushmore thing with The Beatles! Oh and then Im gonna some how incorporate lyrics. So thanks for answers number 2 and 3! Im still open for ideas though
That sounds really cool! A really interesting project.
For filling up the space…how about writing the lyrics of some Beatles songs in the background in big, colorful letters? That could be really interesting if you did it in a specific pattern — like swirls or waves.

create mountains in the background that could be made out of the beatles….or a sun where the rays fill the page and the rays could represent the rythm of a song.
