@Sarcasticscum I …
@Sarcasticscum I agree CJ 6s are rare, but a CJ 6 Renegade that still has the original stickers on it´s body is very hard to find if not unique. Like I said that Jeep must be a jewel. Here in Italy stock CJs in good shape are relative expensive (about 15.000 Euro) but a CJ 5 or 7 Renegade or Golden Eagle in perfect conditions could cost 20.000-25000 Euro. Collectors love especially the CJ7 with the stock 304 V8 engine, automatic transmission and Quadra Trac. But that Jeep CJ 6 is more rare.

Yea, …

Yea, here in North America CJ-5’s and CJ-7’s are still pretty common, but like I said, I’ve only seen my dads CJ-6. I guess what would make it even more rare is that it’s a Renegade, Black with Gold-colored pin-striping and slotted steel wheels. It’s bone-stock and the only things that aren’t stock on it are the White-Letter Radial tires. I just checked it again, and the odometer is currently at 56,000 miles. That’s probably original mileage because dad has NEVER drove it often.

@Sarcasticscum I …
@Sarcasticscum I think I was very lucky, because I saw 3 Jeep CJ6 in my life. If that Jeep is still there, your dad has a jewel in his garage.
Old jeeps are relative common on Italian roads. Lwb Jeeps like the Jeep CJ6 and CJ8 are rare, but it isn´t very hard to see some old Willys. In my village a Willys CJ3B and Viasa CJ3B (spanish license made diesel Jeep) are still on the roads daily and a guy has a lwb Viasa CJ6.
The Viasa CJ6 isn´t based on the CJ5 like the Jeep CJ6, but on the CJ3B.

@petermrs
Haha, yea. My dad has owned his since 1978, and I’ve never seen another one like it. Luckily its been in a garage since dad got it, otherwise, I doubt it would still be here.
