Finally got some romping footage of this beast, the drifting action is alot of fun! Theres something wrong with the rear i think… some sounds coming from back there, and it sometimes locks up.

This is a Willys Jeep. Not so much a ford beast. Its got the willys 134 Go-Devil engine in it and everything. I know the ford built military ones also used 134’s in them, but i think ford manufactured those.
Best jeeps there ever were? Absolutely though the military variants of these willys cj-2a’s had heavier duty frames, and i wish this one had that.

nice! yeah, i had a 74 CJ-5 with a factory amc 304 in the beast thing was awesome I really hope you do come across a CJ-2 style jeep sometime, there is nothing better just a whole cool experience. such a tiny vehicle man, and awesome engine and trans

Hey! Yeah, i’m not a modifier i really like things the way they are. i had the original seats, but just the frames, so i threw that bench seat in just as a temp seat. soon after the vid i poped the seats back in, and i made some pad for them, and had some green school bus vinyl to cover them. so they’re doing pretty good now. i have the gas tank, but the fuel line is bad.
Glad to see you’ve … Glad to see you’ve kept the original flathead ‘Go Devil’ engine in it and have not tried to modify the crap out of it, except for the need to put proper seats in it and fix the gas tank. On the gas tank, it originally went under the front seats so you won’t be able to really put a proper gas tank in it until you put the right seats in it. Reproduction seats are made for them.
I do have a cj5 … I do have a cj5 rool bar laying around, but yeah, there aren’t any seatbelts, or roof, or anything at all, if it tipped over, you’d land wherever, and it would land on top of you, roll bar or not, someone would die, and i’d guess it would be mike
motor has enough … motor has enough power but yeah it will make it more tippy but it wont kill you just put a cj5 roll bar in it the you wouldnt have to worry at all
ah, i like it the … ah, i like it the way it is. Besides, the engine really doesn’t have enough power for 38’s.
This thing has a kinda low center of gravity, which is cool, because we go sideways with it alot. if it was higher, it would be that much more likely to tip, and kill us

How the heck did you get 98 HP out of an F head? Thats like 26 more HP then they came with. Some crazy cam?
I also have a more … I also have a more powerfull f134 that is 98 hp and it will bolt right into ur transmission and I will give u a rear axel that works perfectly and dosent lock up
