yep, its usually … yep, its usually the big jobs with bits all over them that get you in that “nothings getting done” frame of mind.
as for the hood guessing game, a couple of ideas come to mind, either two pins on the fenders near-ish to the bottom that locate into a hole, maybe coned for guidance
or
a couple of latches that click ove as the flip front comes down, the latches would release when the current is reversed to open.
or
fuck it its only fiberglass and stick some velcro on it LOL

Pete i get that sometimes were you look at a job, and it looks like you have done nothing, But thats all the hidden stuff, Then when you least expect it, you’ll have a look and go WOW did i get all that done in a day. It’s also hard to work in the cold.
400 SBC and T56- … 400 SBC and T56-6spd. would also work out pretty good Pete. Little extra work getting the clutch assembly hooked up. But these guys are spending Big Cheese on these rods. I guess it don’t take long to break the bank when your doin it right ; ) I hope somebody comes through that wants a Rat Rod Streetbeast. Id like to see you build one. Thanks for the Vids.

I keep getting bills for $2500.00 every 2 weeks and when I go to see the car.. its the same!! The tell me what they are doing and they say if you want it done right that’s what it takes. I say, geez guys, just get er done before I have to start living in it.
Also, do you have any recommendations for a trans place to get a sturdy 700 R4? Thanks Man!
