hey pete good job … hey pete good job but like the others i think the radiator is too low from what i was taught it should be in line with the engine itself or else overheating problems this car looks like a headache to me to put together but im sure you will get r done and looks like trevors still keeping at it even if he might drive you nuts lol
@ted850760 Good … @ted850760 Good suggestion… I will do that.. Thanks for the trusty advise.. I might even change it out to the fillerneck/thremo housing like kharris73 advised… Thanks again Pete
radiator is lower … radiator is lower than the engine block water jacket…you’ll have air pockets that will cause overheating problems…put your filler in line like you did,,,then buy an expansion tank- plumb to the end of the radiator where you called the overflow ….a small expansion tank elevated to be the highest point in the cooling system and you’ll have no problems..please trust me on this one
you will need to … you will need to cap over flow bcoz its a lower point n coolent will run out, plug it n use the one on filler that will release press as its made to do
Pete they make a … Pete they make a fillerneck/thermostat housing that you can use. That way you fill the system at the highest point and you dont have to worry about the hoses…
