Pulling apart the top of my transmission to inspect the gears.
while coming back out of the house I spot a weird bug on my shoe, seems like a baby dragon fly? or stone fly? or who knows. I labeled him or it… the Demon bug.

not knowing it had wings I felt comfortable pressing my face infront of it, until it decided to fly in my direction!

Dangerous Scary Nighttime Willys CJ-2A ride!

So the last time this 1946 willys cj-2a was on the road legally was 1974. the tires are from before then, and they all have hearts on the side of every tire lug. we were out in the field, driving and romping the beast around, and drew said that we should drive it too janets cottage type thing down by this creek, a few miles away. it was alot further the way we went, because we used all back roads, to avoid cops. at least it is in my name, and has head lights. no tail lights, brakes, insurance, registration, license plate, Can’t dissengauge the clutch, spedometer doesn’t work, gas tank is under the hood, from a bolens tractor, laying barely held on by one loose bracket on top of the distributor cap, with a shirt or cardboard inbetween to inulate the spark plug wires from the tank, the battery was dead right before we left, we had to pop start it, or jump start it, probably jump with the whole no clutch thing, its sopposed to be 6 volt and charge with a generator, but it was converted, horribly by me to a 12 volt setup, which is mainly just the headlights, and coil, along with a chrysler alternator, that barely works, so really, it was an exciting journey. no windshield either. its in my shed so we don’t break it romping. this… was a really crazy thing. and at around 4:13 i was cruising in 3′rd going probably 40 something, and there was a 90 degree turn coming up, and i couldn’t get it to go in second to downshift, and slow us down, i was scared so it kept not syncronizing it right, and it kept grinding. and at last i just pushed it hard and it went in… felt bad about it, but didn’t want to crash. no other way to slow down, other then to be in a gear, and let of the gas then i popped it in low to go down a hill toward a main road. It was fun though! and the headlights were bright tail lights were non existant. also, no exhaust.

Hot Rodding the Eazy Project (Dad’s Truck)

Took some parts off a engine I had in my shop whose pistons split apart (literally) It had a carburetor from a Jeepster on it, and a intake manifold from the same. A vacuum advance distributor was also installed. On top of all this it has a Kaiser Supersonic head was installed (higher compression).

Since my dad’s truck wasn’t running the best with the stuff it had on it, I decided to take the parts from the other engine and install it on the Eazy Project to get a little better performance.

Took only about 9 hours to swap everything over, that’s including cleaning and watching paint dry.

New points, rotor, cap, and wires were also used. Runs great, but still need to fix a few things with the throttle linkage.
