1956 Willys CJ5 Jeep with Chev 350 engine

One redeeming feature of the jeep I bought (discounting the poor mounting and host of other issues), was the Chevy 350 that was installed in it, including the Edelbrock carb and covers.
Once it was remounted and the fan retuned (the original fan sucked so little air as to be useless, but before remounting the engine didn’t give enough room for anything else. Thats fixed too now)

So, give it a listen, and it makes me happy to hear it running so nicely. Probably still needs some minor fine tuning, but seems to be doing pretty good otherwise.

jeep and willys on fordyce

cj3b willys on fordyce with cj5 and yj. Gotta love that power steering belt!! Going to have to start a jeep club now. My oldest son just picked up a high hood, Scotty has the tan cj5, Scott has a 46 cj2a we left at home so he could ride with his son, and pops has a high hood and a cj7. The orange high hood, built by Scott and I, performed great, just need to get my 44 front under it. Should be ready by the end of August or begining of September. ARB!!!

Quick update on my Willys Wagon, gave her a Canadian tire $120 spray paint, paint job just to get rid of the rusty surface. She is safetied and registered and my daily driver! Needs some TLC but will be a fun project.
