    This sucks bigtime! Bolan would never have had such cheesy keyboard sounds…all this sounds like is a cubase nightmare. And if people like it slower, they should know this was originaly an acoustic song performed on his own…….thats were its at. Do us all a favour and delete this!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for confirming what I suspected. I agree that whoever overdubbed this crap destroyed the original demo. Marc Bolan’s arrangements were definitely a big part of the genius of the T Rex songs. As much as I love this song, the arrangement here just plain blows. I would much rather hear just Marc’s guitar and vocals as originally recorded.

    The only thing original is marc and the guitar the rest was added after his death. A lot of his demos were later fashioned by someone else which I think is a total annihilation of a perfectly good guitar/vocals demo. There is no way Marc being the genius that he was would have done this to one of his songs.

    it’s absolutely an acoustic demo, with overdubs. You can audibly hear the dullness of the demo, and more tellingly, the tempo speeds up several times.
