Would anyone know what the PerTronix part number is for the electronic ignition for a 69 Jeepster Commando?
My dad and I have a 1969 Jeepster Commando with a Dauntless V6. It had all the original equipment. It even has the same alternator! We are trying to change the ignition so that we can move it from it’s current location to storage. It’s too fragile to tow with a strap, it won’t fire because of the distributor, and the distace we need to travel is right about 45 miles. Got any way of telling me which part number I need? I’ve looked everywhere to try to cross reference the distributor and I keep getting the same answer back – "It’s either a Delco or an Autolite." I already know this… I’ve been told many times now.
