great job,iam a big … great job,iam a big fan of 41 willeys.they are a very tough looking car.really like your choice of music too.Bit like keb mo.Anyway good luck with car……Aussie fan!
still trying to … still trying to decide whether its going to be blown or not yet.
i and leaning toward a N/A, twin holley 600’s, nostalgia “purple” Mopar Cam, “eddie” RPM heads or something along those lines, still planning
i’d like to, but at … i’d like to, but at around $4,500 to 5,500 for a complete blower kit it may be a bit hard, but then again it will be a slow build so anything is possible
thanks, got a long … thanks, got a long way to go (well it seems that way) i gotta do my electrical wiring, tail shaft, finish the exhaust, interior and windows then thats it.
i just got my 383 Mopar’s back from the machine shop,
ones a standard bore (1971 cast) and the other is .030 over, (1969 cast)
so no prizes for guessing whats getting built up and going in the willys next, LOL
cheers, wish i was … cheers, wish i was over there, i’d go to thompsonville every year also, would be better than watching it on DVD thousands of miles away.
as you can tell by my music choice i was born too many years too late and in the wrong country, would have been great to grow up in the mother land of hotrodding during the 50’s.
i did have a … i did have a HI-Volume sump on it and all was fine UNTILL i went to build my exhuast, the shorties ended above the “boxed & wide” section of the sump but not by much, no way i could get exhaust pipe in there.. too tight, i have two sumps i have cut up to make one hi-volume sump (length ways not width)
Great pix! Keep em … Great pix! Keep em coming… and good on you for building your own car. My bro and I built a t bucket a couple of years ago so know what its like. BTW… a RED block and a BLUE sump – sheesh man theys chev and ford colors. Paint it orange…
