my fiance grew up in a broken home & sometimes when I talk about my childhood he realize how much he feels he missed out on… so i am making a list & I am going to give it to him so that we can check things off as we do them together… here is what I have so far… anymore ideas?

1.walking along the beach looking for sea shells
2.skipping rocks
3.build a sand castle
4.riding bikes with friends
5.play hide and go seek outside
6.making christmas cookies
7.see the ocean
8.make a mud pie
9.read journey to the center of the earth (dig a hole to reach china)
10.jump on the bed
11.blow bubbles in their chocolate milk
12.swing & jump off the swing
13.race
14.play pretend
15.express feelings without fear of judgment
16.finger paint with pudding
17.make edible play dough
18.lick the beater after making something
19.build a house with legos
20.draw a picture in crayons

go fishing with someone older, make mud pies, play dress ups, build a fort out of cardboard boxes, go hand yabbying, bounce on a trampoline, play on the swings, lick out the cake bowl so the mix gets all over face, tea party, read the lion the witch and the wardrobe, swing on the clothes line, play cowboys and indians, play on the monkey bars and see saw, ride a mini bike, go camping with family, skate board, roller skate, run down a slide, play under a sprinkler, go on a slippery slide, make your own party hats and invitations, bath the dog and get soaked doing it, play board games and card games with family, do a wheelie on a push bike, play with toy trucks in a sand pit, skip rope, play jacks, pull faces to see if the wind really makes it stay that way, make pictures out of the clouds. Hope some of these help you out.

    WOW – how lucky am I that I got to do every single thing on that list as a child? Thank you so much for posting this – it gives me a true appreciation of my parents and reminded me what a wonderful childhood I had.
