    Should send the actuator in for warranty (what you got to loose ;) ). Is that sitting right when closed? you need like a little groove on the \center below the windscreen to align it when it closes or something? I think bruno is part cat sometimes :P While it might be freezing there here its bloody 41C (105F) for the 3rd day in a row :P

    An idea for you. If you need extra strength tie the two triangle brackets together with a bar to make a structure. This may take any twist off of the fiberglass and spread the stress around and save the fiberglass from future stress cracks. That hinge structure should work without the fiberglass attached. Then there will be Minimum force on the fiberglass and it will be better than Street Breast’s originally designed. . Just an idea for you from an arm chair designer

    thank goodness thats done, right Pete? not telling you what to do but, be careful hooking up wires to that battery, it only takes one spark sometimes to blow up. be safe, happy new year.
